Bringing Calm To Your Crazy not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Ice Skating anyone?

A close friend of mine asked me to make her daughter an ice skating cake to match her theme of having a party at the ice skating rink.

She wanted blue and purple and to have some dots added.

It was very challenging to make the skate and to have it stand on the blade.
It took numerous tries but in the end it was able to stand!
Yay!  Glad the Lord was looking over me for that!

The skate was made from RKT.
I'm still trying to perfect a nice, clean, smooth look.
I covered it with melted chocolate before the fondant but it still looked "lumpy" in areas.

Cake was vanilla covered with buttercream w/fondant accents.

TruMoo Milk Review

I was able to be a part of the TruMoo chocolate milk campaign as a bzz agent.  It was a little hard to find.  I was only able to find the milk at Walmart which was a little disappointing since I mostly shop at Harris Teeter.  I was provided with a free milk coupon to be given a chance to try this milk and extra coupons to give to my friends which I was definitely appreciative of because it is rather expensive.  At least with the free coupon it didn't break the bank.

I personally thought the milk was too sweet for my liking, but my son LOVED it!  There is no high fructose corn syrup added and its packed with calcium and lower in sugar so you can feel good about giving your children something that is good for them.  It is also made with 1% lowfat milk which I feel is a great attribute since there is a problem with obesity in our country.  My son's school also uses TruMoo milk and most all the kids seem to like it.

My son is always asking for chocolate milk from the store and I always buy *the other brand*.  I have never bought TruMoo before this campaign, but now I can see it becoming a staple in our household instead of a "treat".  I don't think I would buy it weekly only because of the cost.  It is close to $5/gallon, but I would buy it again.

*bzz agent disclaimer:  I did receive a free product and coupons in exchange for a review of the product but the opinions of this review are honest and my own*
